Thank you to the NRO and Roark District for raising money and donating toys to the daughter (Ludwika) of an Austin employee (Bris). Ludwika has a severe case of scoliosis and is under going major rehab at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas through January. The JDFF has been able to cover Bris' lost wages but the toys will really make for a special Christmas for Ludwika and her 4 year old brother. Thank you for your generous and giving spirit!

Chicago Family Picnic
Here are some great pictures of the Chicago area family picnic. Below is a description of the event sent to me by DM Matt Goldenburg.
The Chicago Fall Picnic was held at the Oakbrook Park District. We invited all of our managers and their families for food, music, and games. Aaron Watson cooked burgers and hotdogs for everyone, with typical cool outdoor Chicago temps. The kids loved the bounce house, bean bag toss, and pinatas. Many creative and competitive pinatas were submitted for our pinata contest. The face painting was also a hit with all the kids. We hope to continue building our culture with more gatherings like this in the future.
